Chemtura to work jointly with Hakuto on polymerization inhibitors for styren monomer refining

14 Sep 2006 - Chemtura Corporation has announced an agreement with Hakuto Co., Ltd. to work jointly in the areas of polymerization inhibitors for Styrene Monomer refining processes. According to Chemtura, these inhibitors, Hakutol PC Series developed by Hakuto, have demonstrated superior performance with dinitro-type polymerization inhibitors such as DNBP.
 
Chemtura and Hakuto will jointly develop the market. Hakuto agreed to license the patented technologies to Chemtura on a global basis, except in Japan, where both companies will cooperate to provide advanced inhibitor technologies.
