SABIC Europe to increase prices for PP Automotive grades07 Nov 2006 -
SABIC Europe announced that it will increase the prices of all automotive PP grades in Europe, SABIC®PP, SABIC®PPC and SABIC®PP STAMAX, by 50 EUR/metric ton as per December 1st 2006.
"The economic situation and PP market conditions make this move inevitable. The use of PP based products in the automotive industry is still growing strongly. This is driven by innovative new applications and the continuing need to drive weight and integrated system costs down in vehicles," said Mark Neville, Business Unit Director SABIC Europe PP Automotive
