Eka Chemicals Inc. and OCI Chemical Corporation announce J/V Partnership

16 Nov 2006 - Eka Chemicals Inc. and OCI Chemical Corporation, announced that the two companies have entered into a joint venture forming EkO Peroxide LLC. EkO Peroxide LLC is structured as a 50:50 joint venture. The new company will be headquartered in Columbus, MS.

 
Byron Smith, President, Eka Chemicals Inc. comments, "this joint venture with OCI Chemical Corporation allows Eka to strengthen its hydrogen peroxide customer base while maintaining existing supply commitments and focus to our Pulp and Paper customers."
