Hoefer makes strategic new appointment for Asia distribution network01 Mar 2007 -
Hoefer, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harvard Bioscience, is expanding its strategy of growing distributor networks through regionally-based support, announcing the appointment of Mark Daniels to consult and manage its growing Asia distribution network.
A former Hoefer Scientific Instruments employee, Mark Daniels previously supported Hoefer-manufactured products in Asia under Pharmacia Biotech, Amersham Biosciences and GE Healthcare. Ramana Tadepalli, Director of Sales and Marketing, Hoefer, Inc., points to a pattern of success in growing global distribution through regional support. 'Our European Sales and Marketing Director, Bertil Djupsund, has doubled European sales in 2006 in support of our distributors in the region. We now look forward to seeing the results of the company's significant new initiative in the growing Asia market.'
