Agilent Technologies Names William Molnar VP and General Manager of Stratagene Division

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that William Molnar has joined the company as vice president and general manager of the Stratagene Division.
Most recently, Molnar was vice president and general manager of EMD Chemicals' Lab business where he led the merger of the biosciences and lab chemical businesses. He brings to Stratagene more than 20 years of senior management experience in marketing, business development, manufacturing and sales in lab chemicals, analytics and bioscience reagents.
Agilent completed the acquisition of Stratagene Corp. on June 7, recognizing the combined product portfolios, technology, R&D expertise, employee bases and distribution channels of the two organizations as highly complementary. Stratagene's product portfolio includes reagents for life science research and instruments. The company also offers a range of diagnostics products.
Molnar holds an MBA in finance/industrial marketing from Loyola College, a master's degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Bethany College.
