Christ Water Technology takes over majority of zeta Group

11 Sep 2007 - Christ Water Technology is expanding its Pharma and Life Science segment and acquiring a controlling interest of 76% in the zeta Group, which is based in Tobelbad, near Graz, Austria. Zeta will be integrated into the CHRIST Group with immediate effect. The signing of the deal is expected until the end of September.
 
zeta is a supplier of process systems for the biotech and pharmaceutical industry: it has three business units, Bio and Process Technology, Sterile Plant Construction, and Automation, 240 highly qualified employees and annual sales of around EUR 40 million.
 
"With zeta, CHRIST will become a genuine turnkey supplier and can now supply the entire process chain for the biopharmaceutical industry. The engineering expertise, the product competence and the excellent reputation of zeta in combination with the water technology expertise and global production and sales network of CHRIST open up extensive synergies and new growth opportunities", according to Christ CEO, Dr. Karl Michael Millauer.
