Rohm and Haas announced a global price increase for its personal care polymers and preservatives, effective February 18, 2008. Prices will increase 5 to 10 percent or as contracts permit for selected product lines including NEOLONE(TM) preservatives, ACULYN(TM) rheology modifiers, ACUDYNE(TM) hair fixatives, ACUSOL(TM) opacifiers, SUNSPHERES(TM), and ROHMSPHERES(TM) SPF Boosters and SOLTEX(TM) waterproofing polymer.
The price increase is necessary due to rising raw material, energy and freight costs as well as ongoing regulatory investments.
