Evonik Expands Strategic Partnership with Nalco for Tissue

13 Mar 2008 - The strategic partnership between the business unit Consumer Specialties of Evonik and Nalco Company has been expanded to now include the tissue markets in Central and South America. Nalco will be the exclusive distributor for tissue additives from Evonik in this region.
 
The unique combination of powerful chemical background, innovation and mill service enables the two strategic partners to deliver the best solutions to customers in line with the challenging needs of the tissue market worldwide. Tissue producers and mills can benefit from our globally available specialty product range, including our well-known tissue wet-end and topical softener and softener/debonder brands AROSURF® PA, VARISOFT®, Z-QUAT(TM), REWOQUAT® and TEGOPREN®, complemented by the Nalco mechanical, operational and chemical (MOC) approach.
 
In July 2006, Nalco was appointed exclusive distributor for the tissue product range of Evonik in Europe. Then an agency agreement between the companies covering the United States of America, Canada and Mexico was finalized in February 2007.
