Rhodia launches "intelligent" polyamide yarn13 Aug 2008 -
Rhodia has launched a new polyamide 6.6 based "intelligent" yarn under the brand name Emana. This yarn incorporates a patented additive which gives thermoregulation properties and improves blood micro-circulation, when embedded in a sportswear or underwear. Emana is a technology developed in Rhodia's R&D laboratories in Brazil.
The "intelligent" properties of this yarn do not deteriorate after repeated washing. Benefiting from all the key characteristics of polyamide. It has been certified class I under the OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
