BASF Coatings paints and services for Belarus
Agreement signed with Minsk-based importer and dealer Sagbel

16 Oct 2008 - BASF Coatings AG has signed a distribution agreement with Belarusian importer and dealer Sagbel.The Minsk-based company will sell BASF Coatings paints, such as cathodic e-coats and liquid coatings, in Belarus.The cooperation will focus on supplying the automotive industry and its suppliers.
 
The agreement also provides for market probes, researching and examining bids, as well as post-delivery technical service at the customers’ sites.The basecoats can be supplied from the new BASF Coatings’ production site in Pavloski Posad, Russia.For Knut Hoffmann, head of Metal/Wood AC Account Management Europe, the new business relationship constitutes another key element for opening the growth market of Eastern Europe.
