Highly sensitive analysis of biomolecular interactions and concentrations of antibodies, proteins, nucleic acids and virus in solution
ConSenseTM: Characterize your antibodies and proteins using homogeneous mix-and-measure assays with low sample consumption

The ConSense™ Analyzer System by FluIT Biosystems provides a method for simple and reliable interaction analysis of antibody/antigen binding, proteins, peptides and nucleic acids. It is based on laser- induced fluorescence and is employed where data quality matters, e.g. for the determination of dissocation constants in antibody optimizations.

The new ASFS method guarantees straightforward sample preparation and circumvents tedious immobilisation processes and assay development steps. Fluorescence-labeled binding partners are titrated with different target concentrations and the fraction of bound and unbound molecules is directly determined. The subsequent analysis is carried out by our user-friendly software.

ASFS is based on a new proprietary approach for the analysis of fluctuating fluorescence signals, that are used to distinguish and quantify different molecular species by their fluorescence fingerprint. For this pupose special algorithms have been developed and implemented into the software.

Hardware: The system consists of two main components, the highly sensitive confocal detection system equipped with up to three excitation wavelengths for flexibility in fluororescence labels and microstuctured chips for sample handling and transport in the device.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Solution-based measurements without surface effects
  • sub-nanomolar concentrations for determining high affinities
  • low sample consumption (3 µl per data point)
  • fast assay delevopment and easy handling (mix-and-measure)
  • short measurement times (10 to 60 secs per data point)
  • easy-to-use analysis software
