The unique characteristic of the MTS 3D ORM Technology is the special shape of the selective 3D ORM measuring area and the combination of an electronic evaluation of the back-reflection impulses. The patented MTS unit lets only particles be statistically evaluated, which come directly in the focus. Particles and droplets which are outside of the focus, are precluded from the statistical collector through the patented optics. This allows coincidence errors, even with a dispersed-phase concentration up to circa 40 vol. %, to be ruled out as far as possible.
Special optical windows by MTS ensure maintenance-free and contamination-free operation for more than 50.000h.
