With the new PLATINblue ultra-high pressure liquid chromatography system (UHPLC) you can run fast UHPLC methods and continue to use your established standard HPLC columns and methods, both on one system.
PLATINblue was designed as a modular system which can be flexibly configured and expanded with additional modules at any time. For instance, for routine analyses requiring high sample throughput, the system can be optimally equipped with the fast autosampler PLATINblue AS-1, capable of processing up to 768 samples in well plates and 96 samples in 1.8 ml vials. For processing of individual samples such as in research or method development tasks, the system can be equipped with a 1000 bar manual injection valve. Whether you would prefer to work with a fast UV/Vis detector or a diode array detector – both are available for you to choose.
High performance mixer
PLATINblue systems were designed for extremely sensitive and dynamic measurements. The precise eluent delivery and eluent mixing ensure an exceptionally stable baseline and are complemented by sensitive detectors for low detection limits. The UHPLC eluent mixer has an effective dead volume of less than 20 µl.
Touchscreen allows for comfortable operation
We designed the PLATINblue system to be as simple as possible to operate so that you can stay focused on what’s really important. PLATINblue systems are optionally available with an easy-to-operate touchscreen and communicate with your PC through a reliable industry-standard Ethernet interface. The PLATINblue edition of our ChromGate® software (based on the well-known EZChrom™ kernel) is scalable for single user systems as well as enterprise-wide networked laboratories and makes it possible to control up to 300 chromatography instruments from a wide range of other manufacturers. ChromGate® also fulfills the highest requirements concerning data security and is FDA 21 CFR Part 11 conform.

The new KNAUER UHPLC system was designed for durability and performance. This is apparent not just in the system’s solid construction but also in the choice of high-quality materials and components throughout. Carefully thought out details such as soft-start or the automatic piston washing feature reduce downtime to a minimum.
