Eastman increases Acetyls prices on April 01

Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products Apr. 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy, and freight.

EASTMAN™ Glacial Acetic Acid, All Grades : List and off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) in North America and Latin America.

EASTMAN™ Acetic Anhydride, All Grades : List and off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) in North America and Latin America; $USD 0.10/kg ($USD 0.045/lb) in Asia; and EUR 60/MT in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
