Brenntag acquires Italian specialty distributor in fuel and oil additives

Brenntag further strengthens its distribution of specialty additives for the fuel and oil sector with the signing of an agreement to acquire Petrolube, the exclusive distributor of Infineum specialty fuel and oil additives based in Milan, Italy. For the financial year 2012, the company expects an EBITDA of about EUR 0.8 million.
The acquisition follows Brenntag's successful acquisition of Multisol Group, a specialist in the distribution of lubricant additives and base oils in Europe and Africa in November of last year and further strengthens its strategic relationship with Infineum, the market leading manufacturer of specialty fuel and oil additives.
