Rohm and Haas Announces Price Increase for Acrylic Based Emulsions for Packaging and Building Materials in North America

14-Jan-2008
Rohm and Haas's Packaging and Building Materials business announced a list and off list price increase for all acrylic and styrene acrylic based emulsions sold to the North American pressure sensitive adhesives, textile non-woven, construction, adhesives and packaging industries. The increase of 6-8% percent will be effective immediately, or as contracts allow. All Robond(TM) and Rhoplex(TM) emulsions will be impacted by this movement. The increase is required to offset the continuing escalation in all major petrochemical feedstocks costs which continue to reach record levels.
