Mira P is the new handheld Raman spectrometer from Metrohm for fast, non-destructive identification and verification of raw materials of all kinds, e.g, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) or raw materials for the chemical industry. Mira P is barely larger than a smartphone and is very robust (IP67).
Mira P features Orbital Raster Scan (ORS) technology for the reliable identification of heterogeneous samples.
The various sampling attachments (including a vial holder, a tablet holder, and a contact ball probe) are each equipped with a microchip for automatic identification and documentation in regulated environments, where compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 is mandatory.
Whereas wet chemical instrumentation only allows random testing of batches of incoming material, with Mira P the identity of every single batch of a lot can be verified in seconds at the touch of screen, providing for 100% batch coverage.
