Hamilton releases new ArcAir software version

Simplified operation and nomerous new features

The software was created as a hybrid platform with a single interface for PC and mobile devices.

The responsive design of the interface has been adapted to the display size of mobile devices in the form of an app. This enables a simple and identical handling, no matter which device is used.

The new software version features many advantageous wizards. During calibration, verification, or during required updates, the customer is now guided step by step through processes, allowing a quick and uncomplicated operation.

Additionally, barcodes of the pH buffer and conductivity standards can now be easily scanned through the app, automatically entering the pertinent information. Automatic lot number verification minimizes possible error sources caused by manual processing of information.

Furthermore, the Arc sensors can now be grouped together in the software and provided with collective names. For example, if there are several measuring points in one tank during the process, they can be named individually and under a group identifier. The entire group can be assigned to a specific user, who may hold exclusive the access rights.

The new ArcAir software has enhanced GMP compatibility by offering optimized workflow tracking. After each calibration process, an automated calibration report will be created and saved as a PDF file. “In the biopharmaceutical area, such reporting is mandatory”, explains Jahir Kololli adding that the newly integrated expert level is beneficial in this and other industries. With this function, the user can create and record graphs of the collected data. In this way, all sensors can be optimally controlled and monitored. Additionally, the possibility exists to log the data in the background.

“The software operation has been simplified in order to facilitate complicated processes and ensure low error rates. This provides an optimized measurement, monitoring, and management system for the user”, sums up Jahir Kololli Product Manager at Hamilton Bonaduz AG.
