For pH measurement the existing electrochemical glass sensor technology was optimized to meet the needs in single-use application like long dry storage capability, very low drift and shortest time start-up times.
The dissolved oxygen sensors are based on the robust and proven optical sensor technology.
For all sensing principles, specific solutions in terms of length, mechanical integration and electrical connectivity can be provided to meet the requirements. Scale-up is possible from bench-top reactors to big size bag applications having the same technology.
This enables the system integrator to have variety of system integration possibilities using traditional transmitter or more advanced digital integration to have full functionality and diagnostic abilities. Also available are accessories like a port for integration into the bag application as well as re-useable electronic connected directly to the sensor element to have most cost efficient solution.
The end-user can even use the existing control systems and switch to disposable technology with the same integration for the sensors as known from the re-useable probes. With the sensors integrated in the pre-sterilized single-use bioreactor, mixer or downstream equipment, the operator can start up the process in shortest time.
Our single-use sensors combine the reliability and measurement stability of our long-term proven conventional sensors with the ease of use as an integral part of the single-use container. The pre-calibrated sensors retain the high accuracy performance even after gamma irradiation and a sufficient shelf life making it the ideal single-use solution.
