Bioreactor plant for research and pilot applications

Bioreactor plants of the proven BTP series of UIT GmbH Dresden are commonly used in research and pilot applications. The reactors are available as simple, single unit reactors as well as complex, customized multi-stage reactors. Reactor sizes from approx. 2 liters up to 1000 liters can be realised. Depending on the requirements and sizes, the reactors are manufactured from glass, glass and polymers or stainless steel. A wide range of proven sensors (e.g. pH, LDO, Redox, Con, etc.) is available as the measurement equipment. Furthermore, pump systems (feeding, discharge, pH-control) can be integrated into the plant. Peristaltic pumps, eccentric screw pumps or even syringe pumps can be used for this purpose. The bioreactor plants can be equipped with complex gas analysers.

Typical measurement parameters are CH4, CO2, O2, H2S and H2. Depending on the rate of gas formation, a central gas quality analysis system may be used, which can be switched to the individual reactors automatically. A powerful automation system forms the interface to the user and ensures a comfortable operation.
