Microprocessor controlled data acquisition and evaluation in real-time

Our embedded spectroscopy line comprises instrument series where not only the measuring process control but also the entire data processing including chemometric analysis is implemented on a microcontroller. Consequently, they operate without PC software or PC operating systems.

Key element of an embedded system is always a high-performance, microprocessor-controlled electronic board which, in addition to stand-alone system control and diagnosis, also processes the measurement data in real-time via standard, low-level integrated chemometric routines. Different interfaces are available for the transfer of analysis results and sensor status information to the process control system.

The embedded lines include options for UV/VIS, NIR and Raman spectroscopy. With either integrated or fiber-coupled measuring heads and probes, these instruments can directly be used in a wide range of industrial process applications.
