The UTS NIR automatic tablet testing system combines the measurement of the physical parameters weight, thickness, diameter/length and hardness with near-infrared spectroscopy (FT-NIR analysis) to determine the active ingredient content of tablets.
The UTS NIR is thus a fully automated online PAT tool that can be used in production or as an offline testing device in the laboratory. Thanks to its compact and space-saving design, the UTS NIR with its low overall height fits under all tablet drains of common tablet press manufacturers.
In combination with a tablet press, the system enables continuous monitoring of the manufacturing process so that the user can intervene very quickly in the event of a fault in order to optimally safeguard the production process.
With the NIRFlex N-500 FT-NIR transmission spectrometer from Büchi Labortechnik AG, the user can also reliably transfer applications from the laboratory tester to the UTS NIR.
