Cerabar PMC71B

The Cerabar PMC71B is an advanced pressure transmitter of the new Cerabar generation from Endress+Hauser, designed for precise measurements in liquids and gases. With a measuring range from 100 mbar to 40 bar and an accuracy of up to ±0.025 %, the device is ideal for applications in the chemical industry, process automation and other demanding environments.

Thanks to the robust, vacuum-resistant ceramic measuring cell and media-resistant materials such as Kalrez and Chemraz, the PMC71B can also be used reliably at high process temperatures of up to +150 °C. The integrated heartbeat technology enables continuous self-diagnosis and verification during operation - without interrupting the process. Anomalies such as deviations in the loop resistance are detected at an early stage and system availability is increased.

The PMC71B is particularly user-friendly thanks to wireless operation via the SmartBlue app using Bluetooth. Intuitive wizards provide support during commissioning, SIL-compliant repeat tests and device verification. The visual status display automatically changes from green to red for diagnostic messages and ensures maximum transparency.

The software is designed for easy handling. Systematic errors are reduced through error-free SIL commissioning and guided repeat tests.
