A facile, catalytic approach for the synthesis of new organofunctional isocyanurate derivatives

An effective and selective approach for the synthesis of new organofunctional triallyl isocyanurate derivatives, via hydrosilylation reaction with silanes and siloxanes bearing attractive functional groups, is reported. The presence of Pt-Karstedt's complex led to the total conversion of reagents, as well as, the formation of β-regioisomeric products. The new compounds are valuable building blocks for the synthesis of a variety of hybrid materials, were characterized by FT-IR, 1H, 13C and 29Si NMR spectroscopy.
