Untargeted workflows for food quality and authenticity evaluation using GC-MS and GC×GC-MS
Aroma profiling of food and beverages is required for product safety, authenticity and quality control. However, sampling, separation and detection are just the beginning – resulting datasets must be reduced to discover significant differences and allow meaningful conclusions to be drawn. We demonstrate a new chemometrics platform to align complex chromatograms and extract maximum useable information in end-to-end automated, untargeted workflows.
