Epoetin alfa
Epoetin alfa (rINN) (pronounced /ɛˈpoʊɨtɨn/) is a synthetic form of erythropoietin. It stimulates erythropoiesis (increases red blood cell levels) and is used to treat anemia, commonly associated with chronic renal failure and cancer chemotherapy.
