Sylvie Gallou, new Regional Director for DuPont Chemicals & Fluoroproducts in EMEA.
02-03-2012: Effective March 1st, 2012, Sylvie Gallou is the new Regional Director for DuPont Chemicals & Fluoroproducts in EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa), relocating to the company's European headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. She succeeds Raymond Palmen, who is now the Regional Director for Sourcing and Logistics for DuPont in EMEA, also based in Geneva.
French-born Sylvie started her career at DuPont as New Business Development Manager for Latin America in 2003. Subsequent roles in the region include those of Business Manager for DuPont Fluoroproducts in Mexico and Regional Business Manager for DuPont Fluorochemicals Specialties. Her most recent position was Regional Director for DuPont Imaging and Electronic Technologies in Latin America, based in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Prior to joining DuPont, Sylvie had held various new business development and sales positions at Nortel Networks.
Sylvie Gallou has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania (US) and has a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Supélec (Ecole Superieure d'Electricite) engineering school in France.
