Deep Heat (Heat rub)

Deep Heat is a topical analgesic heat rub meant to relieve pains such as arthritis, backache, muscle strains and muscle sprains. It comes in cream, a balm, and a spray. If over-used, Deep Heat's "warmth" becomes an unpleasant burning sensation.

Active Ingredients

  • Methyl nicotinate B.P. 1.6%
  • 2-Hydroxyethyl salicylate 5.0%
  • Ethyl salicylate 1.0%

The active ingredients vary by the version of the product. The cream or any form of deep heat is a solvent.
