Degree of frost



A degree of frost is a non-standard unit of measure for air temperature equal to one degree Fahrenheit below the temperature at which water freezes (32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Celsius). Thus, 5 degrees of frost is equal to 27 degrees Fahrenheit, and the melting point of water is 0 degrees of frost.[1][2]
