Electromechanical coupling coefficient

Electromechanical coupling coefficient is a numerical measure of the conversion efficiency between electrical and acoustic energy in piezoelectric materials.

Qualitatively the electromechancial coupling coefficent, k, can be determined as:

Failed to parse (unknown error): \mathcal{\k}^{-2} = frac{1}{energy converted \ input energy}
