Flavored salt

Flavored salts are generally made from sea salt and a blend of flavor and an anti-caking agent or humectants. They are used as a seasoning.

Flavored salts like garlic salt, onion salt, ginger salt, and herbal salts are common. Powder is used to mix with high quality edible salt. Many times anti-bacterial treatment is done to preserve such salts.

Lemon, orange, and other vegetable flavors are also made with the help of artificial or natural flavour in liquid form. Such liquids are mixed in required proportion in production unit and packed as per requirements.
