Group 8 element
A Group 8 element is one in the series of elements in group 8 (IUPAC style) in the periodic table, which consists of the transition metals iron (Fe), ruthenium (Ru), osmium (Os) and hassium (Hs). Product highlightAll of these elements are classed in Group 8 because their valence shells hold eight electrons. Hassium can only be produced in the laboratory and has not been found in nature.
