Siliciclastic



Siliciclastic rocks are clastic noncarbonate sedimentary rocks that are almost exclusively silica-bearing, either as forms of quartz or other silicate minerals. They are sandstone based rocks accounting for about 50 - 60% of the world oil and gas exploration.
