Tronox



Tronox, Inc. NYSE: TRX is an Oklahoma City based chemical company involved in the manufacture of titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment.

The company was created in 2005, by a separation from Oklahoma City based Kerr-McGee with an IPO on November 21, 2005.

The current CEO is Tom Adams.

In the first quarter of 2006, Tronox will replace Meade Instruments on the S&P SmallCap 600 index. It became an independent company after the 2005 spin-off mentioned above, and plans to distribute new equity under the additional common stock, TRX.B, a class B security. TRX.B assumed regular trade on March 31st, 2006.

The company has manufacturing locations around the world.

USA

Tronox has operations in Savannah, Georgia; Henderson, Nevada; and Hamilton, Mississippi.

The corporate centre for Tronox is in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, currently at Oklahoma Tower.

Europe

Operations are based in Krefeld-Uerdingen, Germany, and Botlek, Netherlands.

Australia

Operations in Kwinana, Western Australia
