Wash bottle



A wash bottle is a flexible plastic bottle with a spout thru the closure. When a wash bottle is squezed it dispenses a steady stream of liquid. Laboratory equipment. Wash bottles are used to rinse out test tube many laboratory containers like beakers, graduated cylinders, cuvettes, and pipettes. It is also used to dispense specific reagents into test tubes or micro-chemistry. Often galss and plastic wase require rinsing with specific chemical (acetone) as part of the cleaning and/or drying process. Teflon wash bottles (NALGENE(R) are used for dispensing aggressive chemicals.
