Yachay

Yachay is the traditional name for the magical phlegm of the curandero healers of the Peruvian Amazon Basin. It is regurgitated at will by the shamans, and is passed on to a disciple either by swallowing the regurgitated substance from the hands of the shaman, or is smoked through a pipe.

It is used by the Shamans as a defense and protection.
