Bat-laser

The Bat-laser[1] is a strong miniaturized laser used by Batman as a cutting tool. In the film Batman & Robin[2][3] (in which the Caped Crusader battles Mr. Freeze), it is used to melt ice in particular. Besides ice, this laser[4] can cut light alloys, plastic and lead. With the push of one button, Batman can control the intensity and range of the laser beam. In addition to that, the Bat-laser can ignite inflammable materials.

The Bat-laser from Batman & Robin was, in a sense, a successor or companion piece to the Bat-torch[5][6] seen in Batman Forever. The Bat-torch produced a small blue flash, which could eat through the hardest materials.
