Blood-sampling device

A blood-sampling device, also known as a Lancing Device, is a small instrument for pricking the skin with a quick-action fine needle, or lancet, to obtain a sample of blood recovering for testing. It is most commonly used by diabetics during blood glucose monitoring.

The depth of skin penetration can be adjusted for various skin thicknesses.
