Gunnar Svedberg



Professor Gunnar Svedberg (born 1947 in Annefors, Hälsingland) was the Rector of Göteborg University, in Sweden.

Svedberg studied at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering in 1975. He became a full professor at the RIT in 1989. He was the Rector (Vice-Chancellor or President) of Gothenburg University between July 2003 and September 2006.
