Samarian spinelThe Samarian spinel is a reddish stone weighing 500 carats, blood red, semi-polished and has a hole in it, and is the largest known spinel in the world. It is presently at National Jewelery Museum of Iran, in Tehran, and is among the crown jewels of Iran. Product highlightLegend has it that it adorned the neck of the biblical golden calf, which the Israelites are said to have made while Moses was receiving the Ten Commandments.
