Solar neon

Solar neon is neon that has been made in the Sun and transmitted to Earth as ions in the solar wind. It is distinguished from allogenic neon (that is, neon created in other ways) by its isotopicity, since solar neon is created directly via nuclear fusion, instead of via planetary nuclear fission.
