Zero Regio

Zero Regio stands for a multilateral, integrated hydrogen-project. It is determined to develop a transport system based on hydrogen-driven fuel cell cars in two European regions, in Italy and Germany.

Supported by the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission, a hydrogen infrastructure, including hydrogen stations and car fleet is built in the Rhein-Main Region and Lombardy during the five years of the project. Members are different companies and institutions from four member states of the European Union.

The results and experiences in succession of the test stage will contribute to reach the objective of the European Commission of 5% hydrogen-driven automobiles across Europe by the year 2020.
