Waters New HSPgel(TM) Columns for Fast and Accurate GPC Analysis
With the advent of today's higher performance solvent management systems, many polymers can now be analyzed accurately and reproducibly utilizing lower volume columns. This results in total analysis times of seven minutes or less, thereby increasing sample throughput up to sixfold while decreasing solvent usage from 35-50 mL to 5 mL or less per run.
By combining Waters HSPgel columns and Alliance® Technology, molecular weight determinations can be made faster, easier and more precisely than ever before. In order to achieve accurate molecular weight measurements as well, broad standard calibration techniques must also be utilized. This combination of the new HSPgel columns, Alliance solvent management and Empower(TM) GPC software results in fast, accurate and precise molecular weight determinations.
