FirePlate-O2

Discover our compact optical multi-channel oxygen reader FirePlate-O2, enabling simultaneous oxygen measurements of up to 96 channels. Together with 96-well microplates with integrated oxygen sensors (minispots) or dispersed oxygen nanoprobes, it provides an efficient solution for your research needs.

This multi-channel reader is compatible with sterilised (EtO) transparent microplates with integrated minispots for oxygen sensors from PyroScience. They are available with round or flat wells, a volume of 270 µl (round) or 350 µl (flat) and a protective cover. Each well contains a minispot oxygen sensor fixed in the centre of the well bottom. Alternatively, our oxygen nanoprobes can be simply distributed in the medium/liquid in the 96-well microplates (without integrated minispots) and read contactlessly through the transparent well bottom. However, integrated minispots in miniaturised systems such as microfluidic chips can also be read using transparent chip materials in combination with the FirePlate-O2 for parallel measurements.

Optical measurements of oxygen and DO are performed with precision. Our special Pyro Workbench measurement software enables easy calibration and individual settings.

Simply place the microtiter plate on the FirePlate-O2 measuring device, calibrate the oxygen minispots/nanoprobes and start temperature-compensated oxygen measurements in third-party incubators or on a shaker after fixing with the supplied adapter.
