09-12-2007: The Supervisory Board of Sartorius AG and Olaf Grothey, member of the Executive Board and Executive for Labor Relations, mutually agreed that Olaf Grothey resign from his position on the Executive Board of Sartorius AG. The Supervisory Board thanks Olaf Grothey for his dedicated service to the company over many years in various positions and wishes him all the best for the future. Grothey, who has been responsible on the Executive Board for human resources and general administration since June 2002, had worked for the company since 1986. Before his appointment as Executive for Labor Relations, he was Chairman of the Employees' Council of Sartorius AG.
The Supervisory Board has appointed Dr. Günther Maaz as the new Executive for Labor Relations. Maaz, who has been with Sartorius since 1979, is a member of the Executive Board since joining it in November 2002 and is responsible as President of the Mechatronics Division. He will assume the Executive Board responsibilities previously performed by Olaf Grothey in addition to his regular tasks.
