Germany's oldest gold and silver refinery, headquartered in Pforzheim, is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year. The precious metals expert specializes in separating materials containing precious metals and recyclable materials from production processes. As a leading manufacturer of precious metal products, the company offers high-quality materials and semi-finished products for the jewelry, wedding ring, electrical, electronics and dental industries. In the field of electroplating, surface finishing is carried out on almost all metals and for a wide range of industries. A milestone in the company's history was the formation of the Heimerle + Meule Group (Heimerle + Meule, Cooksongold, Weston Beamor, Cookson-CLAL, SEMPSA JP, Drijfhout, Koutadly) in 2013. The group of companies is now one of the largest European precious metal processors and employs over 950 people at locations in seven countries.

The specialist is certified as a conflict-free gold processor by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) in accordance with the LBMA's Responsible Gold Guidance (RGG) and is listed on its Good Delivery List. The company has also been successfully certified in accordance with the Code of Practice (CoP) of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).
