About epiray
epiray was founded in 2021 and is a spin-off of the Max-Planck-Institute for Solid-State Research in Stuttgart, Germany. Its mission is to provide Thermal Laser Epitaxy solutions to scientists and researchers working in a variety of fields of physics and materials science.
epiray is lead by Dr. Wolfgang Braun as CEO and by Dr. Hans Boschker as CTO.
epiray has obtained an exclusive license for the broadly patented technology from the Max Planck Society.
epiray is represented in the United States of America by our subsidiary company epiray United States, in China by Beijing Eberl Instruments Trading Co., and in the United Kingdom by EDGE Sci-Tech.
epiray stands for EPItaxy with laser RAYs.
