Reactana GmbH is headquartered in Biebesheim am Rhein, approximately a 30-minute drive from Frankfurt Airport. The company was founded in 1976 by Marc Guisolan and Herbert Brunner and has remained privately owned by the founders ever since. Reactana is ISO 9001:2015 certified and serves customers in the chemical industry as well as in the hard metal, electronics, and optical industries. Exports account for approximately 50% of total sales, making the company active not only in Europe but also in the USA and Asia.

Reactana focuses on four key business areas: the production of homogeneous catalysts for inorganic and organic chemical processes, the recycling of hard metal scrap, coating solutions for the contact lens industry, and professional contract manufacturing and toll production in the chemical sector.

At Reactana, we develop customized processes for the recovery and processing of valuable raw materials from industrial material streams. Our focus is on the development and optimization of recycling processes for cobalt (Co), vanadium (V), and tungsten carbide (WC). We do not focus solely on the recovery of individual elements; rather, we develop processes designed to selectively recover valuable material components and return them to productive use.

In addition, we offer professional contract manufacturing and toll production in the chemical sector – from raw material processing to the finished product.
