About Furanova
Furanova GmbH is a Bavarian green-chemistry company that turns sugar into FDCA – the key building block for PEF, a fully plant-based and recyclable alternative to fossil PET in bottles, packaging and fibres. Our own process uses electrochemical oxidation, needs no methanol and produces green hydrogen as a by-product. We are now scaling up to a 5,000-tonne demonstration plant and welcome partners, sites and investors who want to make bio-based plastics competitive.
