The Nordenham electrolytic zinc refinery has an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons. Its main products include: galvanizing zinc alloys for the steel industry, zinc casting alloys for the die-casting industry, zinc ingots, zinc balls and zinc shot. The plant also generates sulphuric acid, and other by-products like copper concentrate, cadmium and silver-lead concentrates.
